The process begins with a personal conversation — either by phone or a visit to the facility. We'll learn about your loved one's daily needs, preferences, and health background. From there, our team prepares a care recommendation and walks the family through the living options that feel most appropriate.
Can I visit Velora before making any decisions?
Absolutely. We warmly welcome in-person tours and encourage families to see the spaces, meet the team, and ask as many questions as they need. Visits can be arranged Monday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
How do monthly fees work and what is included?
Monthly fees cover accommodation, meals, daily care based on the selected tier, housekeeping, laundry, and access to all community spaces and activities. Additional charges may apply for external medical visits or specialist services arranged on behalf of the resident.
Are family members able to visit residents freely?
Yes. We operate open visiting hours within reasonable times throughout the week. Families are considered an important part of a resident's life and are always made to feel welcome. We only ask for brief advance notice for special arrangements or family gatherings.
What happens if a resident's care needs change over time?
Care plans are reviewed regularly and can be adjusted as a resident's needs evolve. Moving between living tiers is done thoughtfully, with full communication with the family throughout. Our goal is continuity and familiarity — we aim to accommodate changing needs within Velora rather than requiring a change of home.
Is Velora suitable for residents who do not speak Thai?
Yes. Velora serves an international community in Bangkok and our care team includes English-speaking staff. We are sensitive to language and cultural preferences, and we work to ensure every resident feels understood and comfortable regardless of background.
